The supreme Mahayana skillful means for accessing and cultivating compassion in our daily lives: directly insulting ego!

In this online course, we will be studying one of the treasures of the practice lineage: the Slogans of Atisha. The study and practice of these 59 slogans is a very practical and earthy way of reversing our ego-clinging and of cultivating tenderness and compassion. They provide a method of training our minds through formal meditation practice as well as in post-meditation, using the events of our everyday life as a means of awakening. As Trungpa Rinpoche said, these slogans are “ nothing particularly philosophical... It is very nitty-gritty, a grandmother's approach.... What has been said is a drop of golden liquid.”

We will be using the book Training the Mind and Cultivating Loving-Kindness, by Chogyam Trungpa.

We will meet online using Zoom.

Prerequisites: Shambhala Training, Level 1-5 or experienced meditators.

Participants from outside Sweden and especially Ukraine are welcome to join.
